Parade route starts at Dundas Street & Ontario Street and proceeds west towards Dundas Place and ends at Ridout and Dundas.

How long is the parade route?

The parade goes along the 3km stretch of Dundas Street in the heart of London so there are plenty of spots available to get a good view of the parade.

What about the weather?

The parade runs and Santa arrives in rain, sun or snow!

Who is participating in the Parade?

Community groups, corporate entries, bands, additional entertainment and Santa of course!

What should I bring to the parade?

Warm clothing, snacks, a hot beverage, water, lawn chairs, blankets and non-perishable food donations for the London Food Bank. The parade also appreciates any donations to our Toonie Toss fundraiser which we use to fund the parade & book entertainment.

What is the Toonie Toss?

Parade volunteers will be walking along the parade route and have Santa hats on sticks.  You - or your kids - will be able to toss one or more Toonies in the hat and help support the parade.  The money raised from the Toonie Toss goes towards the cost of the parade marching bands and entertainment.

How does the parade collect the donations for the Food Bank?

Parade volunteers with shopping carts and wagons will be walking alongside the floats to collect the non-perishable food donations.

What are the options to watch the parade?

You can watch in-person along Dundas Street or tune in online and watch the official live stream coverage on YouTube Live hosted by Jess Brady.

How many people watch the parade?

It is estimated that between 50,000 and 65,000 people watch the parade in-person along Dundas Street and about 8,000 YouTube connections online or about 10,000 people watching the live stream or the video after the parade.
